Our government recently upgraded the RANSOMWARE WARNING for the third time this year.
When we stop getting customers in the shop who have been scammed out of hard earned money, we will stop trying to warn you! None of you think it will happen to you, all of you think you are “smarter than that’. The reality is, scammers are professionals at separating you from your money and most of you are no match for the professional level of lies, manipulation and scare tactics used.
If you are not using secure email by now, you are in fact living on borrowed time. It is only a matter of time before you lose your email, your identity, or your money. (Secure email is NOT Spectrum mail and DOES HAVE multi Factor authentication enabled.)
Additionally we recommend both an Anti-Virus product and Malwarebytes software ($40.00 each per year) as well as a full image encrypted backup of your computer. (then you never have to pay the ransom!)
