You’ve been using QuickBooks desktop for over 20 years! You have a small business. You don’t use it much. None of that matters. QuickBooks is getting rid of standalone desktop version of their product in favor of online service at $30.00 per month per business. You can still find, with some work. QuickBooks desktop pro for about $900.00 per year. You may want to consider that as a last year plan. You should also talk to your accountant about what you want move to the cloud. You don’t need 20 years of history uploaded. You just don’t.
