Many of you recall when we did our electronics recycling events, so much so that we still get calls every week inquiring about them. Believe it or not, we haven’t done a recycle event since the town took over the job in 2015. (Before that the area had no recycle solution so we created one) Since we no longer provide this service, but you all are stilling looking for it – here is the current information on recycling as of April 2017
In the City of Wilmington – For electronics recycling – call 910 341-7875 for curbside pickup. Or take to one of the HazWagon locations.
Outside the City, New Hanover – You can either take your recycling to the landfill on 421 (two locations on 421 – hazardous and non-hazardous) or you can take it to the HazWagon which is new.
