You simply have to upgrade your software periodically. I know, I know, it’s all you need. You don’t want extra features. It’s not about that. It’s about software companies making more money and it’s about your computer operating system upgrading without your software following it.
As a general rule of thumb software is updated every 3-5 years, just like computers. The operating system of that 20 year old software you own does not match that of today’s systems. That is the primary reason you need to update. Seriously old software can not work well with new programs and new operating systems. It may work one day and not the next.
We do not trouble shoot software that is not designed to work with current operating systems. I know you want to save money and stick with the thing that works – but I can’t make it work.
Buck up – if you reading this – it’s likely time to invest in software.
